From QingFeng Yu:

                                                      Thank you

I myself came from a different place before I stayed here in Richmond. I could imagine how people feel braving the seas to cross to another nation. It wasn't just the gaping abyss, that is the sea, to be anxious about. It is also about facing the sea of strangers, of completely different culture, of different environment.

Recently I have just sold a house here in BC to someone from the mainland, where my very own roots came from. Of course we could speak well using our native language, Mandarin. She even wrote me a heart-felt testimonial.

Qing-Feng Yu does not even have an English name, except for how I am spelling it now. The Yus are very hardworking and, as every chinese family, their family is very much connected. They may have lived in China all their lives, but they do have relatives here. Nevertheless, it is still not very reassuring to travel to another place, leaving your country. The opportunities here for their family, however, is more abundant that they decided to move in.

This is not a new story. I may be telling a story of most of the 1.3 million Chinese in Canada, more than 1/3 of which are in BC alone.

I was able to provide Quing-Feng's family a home they would feel very much at home in. Although missing the old land could never be erased, I am very much happy to help them have the place to settle. You see, I do have several roles here. Their real estate expert, their friend, their navigator, and most of all, their very own fellow country man.

Feel free to drop me a line and I will never let you down. My goal is to go extra miles to help you feel welcome here in Richmond, BC. Cross the globe to find a house? I'm your man.
